Yesterday we read an article about how people can get declined loans just because of their online profile. It was proved that while you’re on Google the companies you go too could track everything you ever searched and use that information against you. The article stated that a man came back from his honeymoon and received a credit limit was lowered to $3,800 from $10,800 but it wasn’t because of anything he did. It was because other customers used their cards at places that he did and they had poor repayment history. The article is basically saying that any company can tract everything you ever searched on a computer. The writer wants a no tracking law.
I agree with the writer. A lot of people have been declined loans and health care due to searched they made on a computer. Some people have even lost their jobs. The article even states that facebook makes their money off of you. Suppose you put a status up about engagements a few seconds’ later ads pop up about great places to get married and that’s mainly how facebook makes their money.
